The Faculty of Communication Sciences has a twofold mission: teaching and research.

The teaching mission aims at:

  • the formation of specialists in the fields of communication and public relations, who can perform a range of domain-specific activities in institutions, private companies, political parties and organizations, NGOs, etc.
  • the formation of translators and interpreters in the fields of science and technology, law, economics, public administration, etc., in accordance with national and international labour market needs.

The research mission aims at:

  • engaging the teaching staff in fundamental, exploratory and applied research in the fields of communication, public relations, linguistics, foreign language teaching, in order to promote knowledge development and in accordance with the needs of the academic environment;
  • the formation of graduates who can take part in various research activities in the field of the undergraduate or postgraduate programme they are enrolled in.
